Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a warranty on Heavy Duty Tape?
There is a 3 year warranty. If you place the tape on a clean, dry floor, the tape will remain on the floor for at least 3 years. Dragging skids across the tape does cancel the warranty.
Why should I stop painting?
You will save time: Painting is an expensive and time consuming practice. By switching to tape, you will no longer need to stop production to allow for the floors to dry. By implementing tape, you can institute your 5S objectives in minutes. Production does not need to stop for the tape to go down on the floor.
You will save money: You may have to paint your floors 2-3 times a year. By using Heavy Duty Tape, you will avoid paying expensive labor and paint fees. You will also save money by not having to divert the business flow to allow for the painter to finish with your floor.
You will maintain a high quality of 5S initiatives: Paint fades over time, especially with a high amount of foot and wheel traffic. With our Heavy Duty Floor Tape, you will maintain the vibrant color of our floor tape for the entire time it is on your floor. Paint can crack and rub off under wheel traffic. Heavy Duty Tape was built to withstand wheel traffic while also allowing you to maintain your current cleaning regimen. You can scrub right over the top of our tape like you would the floor.
How thick is the tape?
The tape is 50 mil thick. Heavy Duty Tape was engineered to withstand the contact wheel traffic within your warehouse.

What can I do in areas where my forklift drivers are dragging skids?
We have a variety of techniques to help combat the frequent problem of forklift drivers who can not pick up their skids. First, we suggest using our Heavy Duty Dots to build a line in the problem areas. This helps to limit the surface area of your 5S tools while still directing traffic in the warehouse. Less surface area on the floor means there is less of a chance for a skid to catch something.
We also recommend slitting your tape every few feet in the areas where skids are frequently dragged. This prevents a dragged skid from pulling up an entire line of tape. This means that you will need less tape to replace the damage caused by the dragged skid.
Can I clean my floors as usual?
Yes. You can use your industrial scrubbing machine as you normally would. Simply clean the tape as you would any other portion of your floor, our Heavy Duty Tape will look brand new after a fresh cleaning.
Do you offer custom sign orders?
Yes. Please give us a call and we will find out how we can help you. If you have an image file or an idea in mind, we can print it on a floor sign.
Do you offer custom tape orders?
Yes. If the order is of significant size, we can create any color of tape you would require. Not sure if your order is big enough for a custom order? Give us call and we will see how we can help.
Does your tape hold up in cold environments?
Yes. We offer a premium Heavy Duty Freezer Tape. This tape will remain on the floor in cold environments up to -20˚ F. This tape was engineered to specifically help our clients who work in the food industry.
